Thenandal Films has officially confirmed that Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 61st film will be directed by director Atlee and the film shoot will start in the month of February 2017. According to the reports, the makers have zeroed in on Nayanthara to play the female lead in the film. The team is planning to shoot the first schedule of movie at at Warner Bros Studios, USA. When we checked about this with our sources close to the team, they said there are talks but nothing has been finalized yet. So there is a huge chance that Thalapathy 61’s shooting might take place in the USA.
Earlier the film makers were planning to release Vijay 61 for 2017 Diwali but according to the recent rumours, the film might be hit in the theatres for Ayudha Pooja holidays 2017. It's only unofficial release date and stay tuned our Cine Kooothu for official release date and the film’s progress could push or pre-pone it.
